Buying ties and accessories wholesale: a guide for tailors and boutiques
Why accessories belong next to tailoring
A client who has just chosen a suit is already thinking about how to wear it. Offering the tie, pocket square and braces at that moment completes the outfit and the sale. For a made-to-measure tailor, accessories also fill the weeks between fitting and delivery, and give clients a reason to return.
Accessories are compact, not sized in the way garments are, and easy to display. The main decision is which pieces to carry.
What to stock first
A balanced opening range covers everyday, seasonal and formal needs without going deep into any one.

How mixed wholesale orders work with us
The Cocoon of Artisan collection is online with every style, its composition and dimensions.
- Choose your pieces. Add any combination of styles and categories to your bag.
- See the price tier. Small orders show retail prices. Once the total quantity in the bag reaches the wholesale minimum shown on the site (50 mixed pieces at the time of writing), wholesale prices apply to every item. Socks count by the pair.
- Select your currency. Prices can be shown in USD, EUR, GBP, CHF, CAD, AUD, JPY or CNY.
- Download a pro forma invoice. It lists each style with quantity, unit price and totals.
- Confirm with your sales contact. Availability, shipping and taxes are agreed before the order is placed. No payment is taken on the website.
Because the threshold is counted across the whole bag, a shop can test many styles in small quantities rather than committing to depth in a few.
What to check before you order
- Composition. Every listing states the fibre content. Ties are 100% mulberry silk; jacquard ties have a 100% wool interlining.
- Dimensions. Ties are 155 × 8.5 cm. Pocket squares are 30 × 30 cm in silk and wool and 31 × 31 cm in ramie. Wool scarves are 186 × 65 cm; wool and silk scarves are 165 × 45 cm.

- Shipping and duties. These depend on destination and are confirmed with your invoice.
Presenting accessories in a shop
- Show ties rolled or draped next to the cloth they suit, not in a separate corner.
- Put a pocket square in every display jacket.

Yes. At Cocoon of Artisan the wholesale threshold is counted across the whole bag, so ties, pocket squares, scarves, braces and other pieces can be combined. Socks are counted by the pair.

No. The website produces a pro forma invoice for your selection. Availability, shipping and taxes are confirmed by your sales contact before an order is placed.
